A dashing Italian film and voice actor and highly skilled camera man, Adriano Giannini is known for his role in Swept Away, a 2002 film co-starring Madonna. The 2002 Swept Away was a remake of a 1974 Italian flick, in which his father orignally played the role of Giuseppe. His father, Giancarlo Giannini, also dubbed the voice of the Joker (portrayed by Jack Nicholson) in the movie Batman (directed by Tim Burton). Aside from being a film actor, Adriano Giannini's talents also include voice acting. As a matter of fact, Adriano was the voice behind Heath Ledger's character in the Italian version of the hit movie The Dark Knight.

Born in 1971 to actor Giancarlo Giannini and screenwriter/ director Livia Giampalmo, Adriano Giannini is also known to work behind the camera. Some of his behind-the-camera stints included being a camera man during the 1999 The Talented Mr. Ripley film production, a first assistant camera man during the 1999 A Midsummer Night's Dream film production, and as a clapper loader during the 1996 Daylight film production.

His long list of films include Alla rivoluzione sulla due cavalli or Off to the Revolution by a 2CV (2001), Swept Away (2002), Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003), Ocean's Twelve (2004), and La casa sulle nuvole (2009).

Aside from his dashing looks, Adriano Giannini is also known for his sizzling role in the 2001 movie Off to the Revolution by a 2CV. In this film, Adriano portrayed the role of Marco, which involved daring, nude scenes.

Co-starring Madonna in the 2002 movie Swept Away, Adriano Giannini played the role of Giuseppe, the guy who falls in love with Madonna as the plot continues. Hot, sexy scenes between Adriano and Madonna further catapulted him into the spotlight.
